IoLab is Ionia Stone Identity's laboratory of ideas. A space for the research and development of the architectural elements of furniture born with the aim of studying new solutions, both aesthetic and, above all, constructive. The idea is to combine both laboratory experiences and market needs in order to express the potential of the material in its multiple applications. The results of an in-depth architectural study of the boxed porcelain stoneware washbasins led us to the creation of modular shapes that contained the full use of the slab in a few symmetrical variations with the modularity of the stainless-steel support element that guarantees lightness and technical structure. Our path is therefore simultaneously architectural and industrial, artisanal and technical; our ambition is still to combine the uniqueness of the material with the harmony of forms. Aesthetic and practical, beautiful and well made.
